David Chu
David Chu is the vice president of spatial computing and XR at NVIDIA, where he leads efforts to bring accelerated computing, AI and graphics technologies to the next generation of spatial computing experiences. Before joining NVIDIA, Chu was vice president of engineering at Magic Leap, where he led teams focused on perception, deep learning and immersive AR technologies. Earlier in his career, he worked at Google on AR and VR platforms for headsets, smartphones and smart glasses, as well as cloud services, edge computing and cloud gaming technologies. Prior to his industry roles, Chu served on the faculty at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and was a researcher at Microsoft Research.
